At Hippie Fish Pererenan, the Sous Chef plays a key role in supporting the Head Chef and leading the kitchen team. This position requires a balance of culinary expertise, leadership, and organization to ensure smooth operations, consistent quality, and a creative dining experience for our guests.
You Will
- Support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and food preparation.
- Assist in menu development, including specials and pricing, while ensuring creativity and balance.
- Prepare and cook dishes, maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Oversee kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and provide training on procedures and food safety.
- Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage food costs to maintain efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
- Supervise kitchen equipment, ensuring proper function and adherence to safety regulations.
- Resolve challenges quickly and ensure the kitchen operates smoothly at all times.
